About Aiza

Aiza writes the long pieces — business, SaaS, educational subjects, the ones that need research before they need sentences. She works from Islamabad, and her measure of a good article is whether someone unfamiliar with the topic follows it on the first read.

Her degree is in English Literature and Linguistics, which shows in how carefully she handles wording and tone. What moved her from literature towards search was content marketing, and the discovery that how a page is structured matters about as much as how it is written.

She started freelance, on blog articles, product descriptions and website pages, and picked up keyword research, search-intent analysis and on-page SEO along the way. Six years on, four of them here, she does both halves of the job rather than handing one off.

Background

How she got here

Education

Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics — writing, research, editing, language structure and communication.

Early work

Freelance editorial projects: blog articles, website pages, product descriptions and informational content for online businesses.

Into SEO

Keyword research, search-intent analysis, on-page SEO, internal linking and content planning — the bridge between writing well and being found.

Now

Long-form articles, content briefs and optimisation work for Infinity Linkers clients, with six years of writing behind it.

Her role

What she does at Infinity Linkers

Before Aiza writes anything she reads around the topic, looks at what people searching it actually want, and decides what shape the page should take. The outline is most of the work; the draft goes quickly once it exists.

Difficult subjects are where she is most useful. Technical and business topics tend to arrive either oversimplified or unreadable, and her job is the narrow path between the two: accurate, but written for somebody who does not already know.

She also works on content refreshes, going through older pages for outdated information, missing subtopics, weak sections and formatting that no longer helps the reader.

Approach

A clear outline beats a fast draft

Aiza’s view is that most weak content is not badly written — it is badly planned. A page that never decided what it was for reads as vague however good the sentences are, and search engines have become quite good at noticing.

Outside work she reads Urdu and English novels, visits museums and heritage sites, does calligraphy, keeps a journal and takes photographs. Most of her planning happens in the quieter cafés around Islamabad, notebook open.
