A look at what we actually do on an account, and the dashboards those engagements produced. Client names are withheld under the confidentiality terms we give every client — the screenshots are unedited.
Building a referring-domain profile that holds up
This account came to us with almost no earned links and a product page that could not outrank much. We audited what was already pointing at the site, disavowed the handful of placements doing more harm than good, and then built slowly: supplier and industry listings first, then digital PR around data the client already had but had never published.
Nothing was bought. Every placement in the report is a page we would happily send a customer to.
The dashboard beside this reads 1.1K backlinks from 365 referring domains, 582 organic keywords and 8.3K monthly organic traffic, with the traffic curve climbing steadily across the three-month window shown.
Fixing the things that stopped a site being found
A site with decent content that search engines were only half reading. The audit turned up duplicate titles across a templated section, a canonical pointing at the wrong URL, an internal linking structure that buried the money pages four clicks deep, and a hero image large enough to fail Largest Contentful Paint on mobile.
None of it was glamorous. All of it was fixed in the first six weeks, and the rest of the engagement went into structure and internal linking.
Search Console for the same account shows 14.1k clicks and 514k impressions over three months, at a 2.8% average CTR and an average position of 7, with both curves rising through the period.
Covering a subject properly, one page at a time
This one is almost entirely a content story — the account has a small link profile and always has. What it has instead is coverage: we mapped every question its customers ask, worked out which deserved their own page and which belonged together, and published against that plan rather than against a word count.
Each piece was briefed around a single question and written to answer it in the first hundred words.
The dashboard reads 769 organic keywords and 4.2K monthly organic traffic, both still rising, from a profile of only 14 backlinks across 7 referring domains — coverage doing the work rather than links.
What a full engagement looks like together
The three services are not really separate. On this account the technical work made the existing pages eligible to rank, the content programme gave them something worth ranking for, and the link work gave the site enough authority to compete for the terms that mattered commercially.
The step pattern in the traffic curve is what that sequencing looks like: each release lands, settles, and the next one builds on it.
The dashboard reads 787 backlinks from 210 referring domains, 316 organic keywords and 2.3K monthly organic traffic, rising in steps across the three-month window.
The same four stages on every account
Audit
We start by reading the site the way a search engine does — crawlability, structure, existing rankings and the backlink profile you have inherited. You get the findings whether or not you go ahead.
Strategy
We agree what to fix, what to build and in what order, with the reasoning written down. No work starts before you have seen the plan.
Execution
Technical fixes, content and link building run to that plan. Anything that touches your site is sent for approval before it goes live.
Reporting
A monthly report you can read in ten minutes: what we did, what moved, what did not, and what is next. Every link we built is listed with its URL.
Why there are no client names on this page
Our terms say we will not name a client or publish their data without asking them first, and we would rather keep that promise than decorate this page. Named case studies will go up here as clients agree to them. If you would like to speak to a current client before signing anything, ask us and we will arrange it.
